Social Media Sushi and Social Media Club

Tomorrow (or today, for those of you reading this on Wednesday) at 6:45pm, Sooz will restart a grand and longstanding tradition of social media sushi in Boston. So please join Sooz, guest of honor Giovanni Gallucci and many others at Osushi in the downtown Westin hotel. Please RSVP on or give Sooz a call so she can plan accordingly.

Also, a reminder that we have a great program taking place on Thursday with a good size turnout expected–that happens when you get Fake Steve Jobs, Wal-Mart and Forrester together in the same room. Still time to sign up!

Social Media Lessons Learned from “Fake Steve Jobs”, Wal-Mart and Forrester

Greg Peverill-Conti and BusinessWire have put together a great program to kick off the 2007-2008 Social Media Club Boston season on Thursday, September 20th.

Steve Restivo, Wal-Mart’s director of corporate affairs for the northeast, Dan Lyons, senior editor at Forbes (perhaps better known as the “Fake Steve Jobs”), and Forrester’s Josh Bernoff will share lessons learned in how large companies are using social media.

The meeting is being sponsored by BusinessWire and will be held on Thursday, September 20th at the Newton Marriott. It will start at 6:00 PM.
